My work takes various
forms; including:
Grotesque.
A 16th century decorative style in which parts of human,
animal and plant forms are distorted and mixed.
Ossuary.
A container for the burial of bones.
Reliquary.
A receptacle or repository for relics, especially relics of saints.
Augury.
A sign, portent or omen, interpreted from the flight of birds.
Charnel.
A building or vault where corpses or bones are deposited.
Momento
Mori. “Remember Man that you are dust, and to dust you
shall return.”
As well as
Atavisms, Elementals, Bestiaries and
Arcanum.
It looks at the historical context of humanities relationship to its knowledge of mortality.
